SUNBURY.
Visiting Day was observed at the local school recently, aed a goodly number of parents and friends were present. Talks on history and geography and the telling of humorous stories by the scholars were greatly appreciated by the visitors. The children also sang and recited, and their work was highly croditable. Mr. .T. H. McKenzie, Chairman of the School Committee, gave an address, and Mesdames It Newbold and H. Aldenhoven also added a few words of eucouragement. The teacher suitably responded, and a pleasant afternoon was closed with the dispensiu? of afternoon tea by the teacher (Miss D«s Caux) and the elder scholars
